OPI Nail Lacquer Lincoln Park at Midnight is a near-black purple lit from within by shimmer - and OPI is explicit about what it is: the shimmery counterpart to the brand's own icon, Lincoln Park After Dark. That relationship is the entire point of the shade. Both sit in the same near-black purple territory, but where After Dark is the deep aubergine original, Midnight threads sparkle through it, so the colour breaks up and catches light instead of sitting solid. Established in 2006, it disappeared for years - OPI's line is that its absence kept you up at night - and it returns via the Most Requested collection. It is a lacquer, so it air dries.

How to Use

1. Clean up and prep the natural nail before any colour goes near it.
2. Coat each nail once with OPI Natural Nail Base Coat.
3. Shake the bottle thoroughly before use. On a shimmer this dark, mixing the pigment fully through is what keeps the sparkle even and helps avoid streaking.
4. Pass two thin coats of OPI Nail Lacquer Lincoln Park at Midnight over each nail.
5. Trace the brush along the free edge of each nail to cap it and help prevent chipping.
6. Shut it in with one coat of OPI Top Coat, capping the free edge again.
7. Apply one drop of OPI DripDry Lacquer Drying Drops to each nail to be dry to the touch in minutes.
