Kristie Leslie is a salon owner, educator, mentor, and the founder of The Business of Retail — an education program designed to help stylists and salon owners grow retail sales through authenticity, consultation, and elevated client experience.
With 25 years behind the chair and over 20 years as a salon owner, Kristie has built one of Saskatchewan’s most respected retail destinations, with her salon consistently retailing far above the industry average. Her philosophy is simple: sales is service.
Over the last two years, more than 800 stylists across Canada have gone through The Business of Retail program, transforming the way they approach consultation, recommendation, retail culture, and client connection. Known for her honest, high-energy teaching style, Kristie helps beauty professionals move beyond transactional selling and into confident, relationship-driven growth.
Through her classes, salon trainings, and leadership events, Kristie teaches teams how to elevate the guest experience, strengthen trust, increase retail performance, and create sustainable business growth — without ever feeling pushy.
