CND Shellac Gel Polish Fuji Love is a juicy mauve-nude from CND's orchard-inspired Autumn Addict collection, a radiant autumnal palette of warm neutrals. It is the shade in that palette that most often surprises people: it photographs pink but wears closer to a dusty taupe-mauve than to any clean pink, and that is exactly what makes it useful. It gives a nude that has some weight to it, which is why it works for clients who find a straight beige nude too bare and a rose too sweet. It sits naturally beside the warm neutrals in the same collection, Gala Girl and Sweet Cider. As the Color Coat in the CND Shellac system, this is a professional autumn nude.

How to Use

1. Shape the free edge with a 240 grit file, push back and lift away non-living cuticle tissue, then cleanse and temporarily dehydrate the nail plate with CND ScrubFresh on a plastic-backed, lint-free pad. The nail surface itself is not filed or buffed.
2. Roll CND Shellac Base Coat between your palms, apply one thin layer to the nail surface and extension edge, and cure for 10 seconds on preset button 1 in a CND LED Lamp. Leave the top film in place.
3. Shake CND Shellac Gel Polish Fuji Love vigorously to blend, apply one thin layer to the surface and extension edge, and cure for one minute on preset button 2S. The first layer looks slightly semi-sheer, which is correct.
4. Apply a second thin layer and cure for one minute on preset button 2S, which is where the mauve settles into its muted depth. Keep both layers thin, as colour applied too thickly can wrinkle during the cure.
5. Roll CND Shellac Top Coat between your palms, apply one thin layer to the surface and extension edge, and cure for one minute on preset button 3.
6. Wipe the top film with 99% isopropyl alcohol on a plastic-backed, lint-free pad to bring up the gloss. No-Wipe+ Top Coat does not need this step. Finish with CND SolarOil.
7. To remove, saturate a CND Foil Remover Wrap pad with CND Offly Fast Moisturizing Remover, wrap each finger and set the timer by the top coat used. Press, massage and twist the wrap away, then wipe residue with Offly Fast.
