CND Shellac Gel Polish Oceanside is a vibrant turquoise from the Rise & Shine collection, CND's spring palette of sunny colours meant to put a little spring in your step. The most useful way to place it: this is a Tiffany-style blue, a light teal that carries a lot more green than the aquas and blues already in the CND range, Cerulean Sea, Aqua-intance and Pop-Up Pool Party among them. The texture is genuinely creamy, which is what stops a colour this bright from going patchy. It works as well on toes as on hands, and it is a natural base for hand-painted summer nail art. Applied as the Color Coat in the CND Shellac system, Oceanside is a professional brights-wall staple.

How to Use

1. Shape the free edge with a 240 grit file, push back and lift away non-living cuticle tissue, then cleanse and temporarily dehydrate the nail plate with CND ScrubFresh on a plastic-backed, lint-free pad. The nail surface is not filed or buffed.
2. Roll CND Shellac Base Coat between your palms, apply one thin layer to the nail surface and extension edge, and cure for 10 seconds on preset button 1 in a CND LED Lamp. Leave the top film.
3. Shake CND Shellac Gel Polish Oceanside vigorously to blend, apply one thin layer to the surface and extension edge, and cure for one minute on preset button 2S. The first layer reads slightly semi-sheer, which is correct.
4. Apply a second thin layer and cure for one minute on preset button 2S to bring the turquoise to full coverage. Keep both layers thin, as colour applied too thickly can wrinkle during the cure.
5. Roll CND Shellac Top Coat between your palms, apply one thin layer to the surface and extension edge, and cure for one minute on preset button 3.
6. Wipe the top film with 99% isopropyl alcohol on a plastic-backed, lint-free pad to reveal the gloss. No-Wipe+ Top Coat does not need this step. Finish with CND SolarOil.
7. To remove, saturate a CND Foil Remover Wrap pad with CND Offly Fast Moisturizing Remover, wrap each finger and set a timer to match the top coat used. Press, massage and twist the wrap away, then wipe residue with Offly Fast.
