CND Shellac Gel Polish Wooded Bliss is a rich, pink-toned mauve from the Wild Romantics collection, CND's rustic autumn palette of warm, earthy tones. The pink tone is what separates it from the grey-leaning mauves most colour walls already carry: Wooded Bliss keeps a rosy warmth underneath, so it stays soft and wearable instead of turning cold or dusty. It is the mid-tone of its collection, sitting between the deep barn red and the neutral linen shade, and it is an easy recommendation for clients who want an autumn colour that is not a red or a brown. Applied as the Color Coat in the CND Shellac system, it is a professional transitional-season shade.

How to Use

1. Prep the natural nail: shape the free edge with a 240 grit file, push back and lift away non-living cuticle tissue, then cleanse and temporarily dehydrate the plate with CND ScrubFresh on a plastic-backed, lint-free pad. Do not file or buff the nail surface.
2. Roll CND Shellac Base Coat between your palms, apply one thin layer to the nail surface and extension edge, and cure for 10 seconds on preset button 1 in a CND LED Lamp. Leave the top film in place.
3. Shake CND Shellac Gel Polish Wooded Bliss vigorously, apply one thin layer to the surface and extension edge, and cure for one minute on preset button 2S. Applied correctly the first layer looks slightly semi-sheer.
4. Apply a second thin layer and cure for a further minute on preset button 2S, which is where the mauve reaches full richness. Keep both layers thin, as colour applied too thickly can wrinkle in the lamp.
5. Roll CND Shellac Top Coat between your palms, apply one thin layer to the surface and extension edge, and cure for one minute on preset button 3.
6. Remove the top film with 99% isopropyl alcohol on a plastic-backed, lint-free pad to reveal the gloss, a step No-Wipe+ Top Coat does not need. Condition with CND SolarOil.
7. For removal, saturate a CND Foil Remover Wrap pad with CND Offly Fast Moisturizing Remover, wrap each finger and set a timer to match the top coat used. Press, massage and twist the wrap away, then wipe residue with Offly Fast.
