CND Shellac Gel Polish Black Cherry 12.5ml

CND Shellac Gel Polish Black Cherry is a classic rouge noir: a dark, wine-deep red creme with no shimmer, dense enough that it reads almost black at arm's length and only gives up its red under direct light. It came into the core Shellac range as one of the fifteen exclusive shades carried over from Shellac Luxe, and it is the shade to reach for when a client wants red without brightness. It is an easy application for a colour this dark, and it holds its depth against the deep plums and charcoals in the same family. Applied as the Color Coat in the CND Shellac system, Black Cherry is a professional autumn and evening staple.

How to Use

1. Shape the free edge with a 240 grit file, gently push back and lift away non-living cuticle tissue, then cleanse and temporarily dehydrate the nail plate with CND ScrubFresh on a plastic-backed, lint-free pad. The nail surface is not filed or buffed.
2. Roll CND Shellac Base Coat between your palms, apply one thin layer to the nail surface and extension edge, and cure for 10 seconds on preset button 1 in a CND LED Lamp. Do not wipe the top film.
3. Shake CND Shellac Gel Polish Black Cherry vigorously to blend, apply one thin layer to the surface and extension edge, and cure for one minute on preset button 2S. Even a shade this deep looks semi-sheer on the first layer.
4. Apply a second thin layer and cure for one minute on preset button 2S, which is where the depth arrives. Keep both layers thin, as colour applied too thickly can wrinkle during the cure.
5. Roll CND Shellac Top Coat between your palms, apply one thin layer to the surface and extension edge, and cure for one minute on preset button 3.
6. Wipe the top film with 99% isopropyl alcohol on a plastic-backed, lint-free pad to reveal the gloss. No-Wipe+ Top Coat does not need this. Finish with CND SolarOil.
7. To remove, saturate a CND Foil Remover Wrap pad with CND Offly Fast Moisturizing Remover, wrap each finger and set a timer to match the top coat used. Press, massage and twist the wrap away, then wipe residue with Offly Fast.
