CND Shellac Gel Polish Aurora 12.5ml

CND Shellac Gel Polish Aurora is a soft pastel pink creme that sits on the cool side of the pink family rather than the warm one. What makes it worth stocking is that it reads a good deal different from its closest sisters in the CND pink range, so it earns its own slot on a wall that already carries several pinks. Aurora arrived as one of the fifteen exclusive shades brought across from Shellac Luxe into the core Shellac range, and it suits clients who want colour that is unmistakably pink but still quiet enough for work. Applied as the Color Coat in the CND Shellac system, it builds to a soft, even finish.

How to Use

1. Shape the free edge with a 240 grit file, push back and lift away non-living cuticle tissue, then cleanse and temporarily dehydrate the nail plate with CND ScrubFresh on a plastic-backed, lint-free pad. The nail surface itself is not filed or buffed.
2. Roll CND Shellac Base Coat between your palms, apply one thin layer to the nail surface and extension edge, and cure for 10 seconds on preset button 1 in a CND LED Lamp. Leave the top film.
3. Shake CND Shellac Gel Polish Aurora vigorously to blend, apply one thin layer to the surface and extension edge, and cure for one minute on preset button 2S. The first layer looks slightly semi-sheer, which is correct.
4. Apply a second thin layer and cure for one minute on preset button 2S. Keep the layers thin; colour applied too thickly can wrinkle as it cures.
5. Roll CND Shellac Top Coat between your palms, apply one thin layer to the surface and extension edge, and cure for one minute on preset button 3.
6. Wipe the top film with 99% isopropyl alcohol on a plastic-backed, lint-free pad to reveal the gloss, a step No-Wipe+ Top Coat does not need, then finish with a drop of CND SolarOil.
7. To remove, saturate a CND Foil Remover Wrap pad with CND Offly Fast Moisturizing Remover, wrap each finger and set a timer to match the top coat used. Press, massage and twist the wrap away, then wipe residue with Offly Fast.
