CND Shellac Gel Polish Arrowhead 12.5ml

CND Shellac Gel Polish Arrowhead is a proper deep chocolate brown creme with no shimmer at all, from the Wild Earth collection CND built to slide a colour wall out of summer and into autumn. What keeps Arrowhead from going flat is its warmth: on the first layer the brown reads noticeably warm, almost as though a little raspberry had been stirred through the chocolate, and that faint red cast is only obvious next to a cooler brown. It is a deep, earthy brown rather than a sharp espresso, and it pairs naturally with the clays, plums and deep blues in the same collection. Used as the Color Coat in the CND Shellac system, Arrowhead is a professional autumn staple.

How to Use

1. Prep the natural nail: shape the free edge with a 240 grit file, gently push back and remove non-living cuticle tissue, then cleanse and temporarily dehydrate the plate with CND ScrubFresh on a plastic-backed, lint-free pad. No filing or buffing of the nail surface is needed.
2. Roll CND Shellac Base Coat between your palms to blend, apply one thin layer to the nail surface and extension edge, and cure for 10 seconds on preset button 1 in a CND LED Lamp. Do not wipe the top film.
3. Shake CND Shellac Gel Polish Arrowhead vigorously, apply one thin layer to the surface and extension edge, and cure for one minute on preset button 2S. Applied correctly the first layer looks slightly semi-sheer.
4. Apply a second thin layer of colour and cure for a further minute on preset button 2S. Thin layers matter here, as colour applied too thickly can wrinkle during the cure.
5. Roll CND Shellac Top Coat between your palms, apply one thin layer to the surface and extension edge, and cure for one minute on preset button 3.
6. Remove the top film with 99% isopropyl alcohol on a plastic-backed, lint-free pad to reveal the gloss. No-Wipe+ Top Coat skips this step. Condition with CND SolarOil.
7. For removal, saturate a CND Foil Remover Wrap pad with CND Offly Fast Moisturizing Remover, wrap each finger and time the soak to the top coat used. Press, massage, twist the wrap away and wipe residue with Offly Fast.
