CND Shellac Gel Polish Field Fox 12.5ml

CND Shellac Gel Polish Field Fox is a taupe colour coat with soft mauve and grey undertones. It is the most quietly interesting neutral in this range because it refuses to settle: professionals and clients report it as a light brown-grey that is neither grey nor lavender but a combination of the two, and say it appears to shift depending on the light and on what the client is wearing. Read that way it behaves less like a flat nude and more like a colour that adapts, and those same reports credit it with flattering a wide span of skin tones and doing the work of two or three separate neutrals. The finish is a smooth creme that builds evenly in two thin layers. It is the colour step of the CND Shellac system, worn over base coat and under top coat.

How to Use

1. Prep the nail: shape the free edge with a fine 240 grit file, push back and lift away non-living cuticle tissue, then cleanse and temporarily dehydrate the plate with CND ScrubFresh on a lint-free pad. The nail surface is not filed or buffed.
2. Roll CND Shellac Base Coat between the palms, apply one thin layer to the extension edge and nail surface and cure 10 seconds on preset button 1 in a CND LED Lamp. Do not wipe the top film.
3. Shake Field Fox vigorously to blend, apply one thin layer and cure one minute on preset button 2S. The first layer looks slightly semi-sheer, which is correct.
4. Apply a second thin layer of Field Fox and cure one minute on preset button 2S. Keep the layers thin - colour applied too thickly can wrinkle during cure.
5. Roll CND Shellac Top Coat between the palms, apply one thin layer and cure one minute on preset button 3.
6. Wipe the top film with 99% isopropyl alcohol on a lint-free pad to reveal the gloss and finish with a drop of CND SolarOil. Skip this step with No-Wipe+ Top Coat.
7. To remove, saturate a CND Foil Remover Wrap pad with CND Offly Fast Moisturizing Remover, wrap each finger and set a timer to match the top coat used. Press, massage and twist the wrap away, then wipe residue with Offly Fast.
