CND Shellac Gel Polish Creekside is a soft, airy pastel blue colour coat with a milky, diffused finish. Do not let the name mislead: this is a light blue, not a green or a teal, and professional stockists list it plainly as a light blue with pastel and blue colour tags. The milkiness is what makes it work - rather than a bright sky blue, Creekside has a clouded, chalky quality that keeps it soft on the hand and stops it reading as a novelty colour. It builds evenly across two thin layers to a smooth pastel finish. Creekside is a spring and summer wall shade, a natural partner for a pale nude or a white in a mixed set, and an easy sell to clients who want something other than pink without going bold. It is applied as the colour step of the CND Shellac system, between base coat and top coat.

How to Use

1. Prep the natural nail: fine 240 grit file on the free edge, gently push back and lift away non-living cuticle tissue, then cleanse and temporarily dehydrate the plate with CND ScrubFresh on a lint-free pad. The nail surface needs no filing or buffing.
2. Roll CND Shellac Base Coat between the palms, apply one thin layer to the extension edge and nail surface, and cure 10 seconds on preset button 1 in a CND LED Lamp. Leave the top film.
3. Shake Creekside vigorously to blend, apply one thin layer and cure one minute on preset button 2S. The first layer looks slightly semi-sheer when applied correctly.
4. Apply a second thin layer of Creekside and cure one minute on preset button 2S for an even pastel lay-down. Keep layers thin, as pastels applied thickly can both wrinkle in the lamp and lose their diffused quality.
5. Roll CND Shellac Top Coat between the palms, apply one thin layer and cure one minute on preset button 3.
6. Wipe the top film with 99% isopropyl alcohol on a lint-free pad to reveal the gloss, then finish with a drop of CND SolarOil. This is not needed with No-Wipe+ Top Coat.
7. To remove, saturate a CND Foil Remover Wrap pad with CND Offly Fast Moisturizing Remover, wrap each finger and set a timer to match the top coat used. Press, massage and twist the wrap away, then wipe residue with Offly Fast.
