CND Shellac Gel Polish Cake Pop is a pastel fuchsia pink colour coat for the professional nail table. Cake Pop sits at the brighter, more saturated end of the pastel pink range, so it reads as a soft candy pink in daylight while keeping enough fuchsia in the base to stay legible under salon lighting rather than washing out against the nail plate. It builds to smooth, even coverage across two thin layers and finishes with a high-gloss creme shine. It suits the client who wants obvious colour without committing to a full bright, and it pairs cleanly with a quiet neutral such as Naked Naivete for a two-tone or accent set. As step two of the three-step system, CND Shellac Cake Pop is formulated to be worn with a CND Shellac base coat and top coat.

How to Use

1. Shape the free edge with a fine 240 grit file, push back and lift away non-living cuticle tissue, then cleanse and temporarily dehydrate the nail plate with CND ScrubFresh on a lint-free pad. The nail surface does not need filing or buffing.
2. Roll CND Shellac Base Coat between your palms to blend. Apply one thin layer to the extension edge and nail surface and cure for 10 seconds on preset button 1 in a CND LED Lamp. Do not wipe the top film.
3. Shake Cake Pop vigorously to blend, then apply one thin layer and cure for one minute on preset button 2S. This first layer looks slightly semi-sheer, which is correct.
4. Apply a second thin layer of Cake Pop and cure again for one minute on preset button 2S. Keep both layers thin, as colour applied too thickly can wrinkle during cure.
5. Roll CND Shellac Top Coat between your palms, apply one thin layer and cure for one minute on preset button 3.
6. Wipe the top film with 99% isopropyl alcohol on a lint-free pad to reveal the gloss, then finish with a drop of CND SolarOil. No wipe is needed with No-Wipe+ Top Coat.
7. To remove, saturate the pad of a CND Foil Remover Wrap with CND Offly Fast Moisturizing Remover, wrap each finger and set a timer to match the top coat used. Press, massage and twist the wrap away, then wipe residue with Offly Fast.
